Enverus’ SPARK Illuminates Transformative Opportunities for Oil and Gas

byEnverus

Austin, Texas (August 11, 2022) — Enverus, the leading global energy data analytics and SaaS technology company, is inviting members of the media to SPARK, its two-day conference taking place Aug. 23-24, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas.

“Energy is complex and continually evolving; the one constant is that it’s always changing,” says Manij Nikhanj, president of Enverus. “Many oil and gas operators today are still developing assets in an unoptimized way. And like many industries right now, it is facing critical labor shortages, inflation, diminished infrastructure, supply chain constraints, limited inventory, as well as availability of capital, and the rising cost of capital. It’s also clearly amid a major transformation.”

Over the last several years, the oil and gas industry has seen numerous acquisitions leading to consolidation of core assets and subsequent divestment of non-core assets. The focus has shifted from overall growth based on abundant, low-cost investment dollars to delivering returns based on investing at or below operating cash flow. The war in Ukraine, continued emphasis on renewable energy sources and emerging topics like ESG are all front and center for every energy company in North America.

SPARK is the premier energy conference focused on helping energy companies protect capital and lower operating expenditures by transforming oil and gas operations with analytics and automation. Attendees will learn firsthand from customer-led panels discussing real-world use cases and best practices on ways the oil and gas industry can leverage digital technology to innovate and turn challenges into opportunities.

“The Enverus purchasing and payments network connects 98% of U.S. producers, and more than 35,000 suppliers providing more efficient operations for the energy ecosystem and data-driven insights into costs and revenue to help them see their future more clearly. That is what SPARK is all about. We are dedicated to the energy industry. We understand the challenges operators face and that is the driving force behind our substantial investment in the development of our complete Source-to-Pay platform. The SPARK event is an opportunity to share that innovation through the lens of Enverus experts and peers,” Nikhanj added.

Building upon 18 years of previous successful SPARK conferences, Enverus continues to magnify its event and expand the invitation to a broader group in the oil and gas industry, spanning senior executives, particularly within E&P companies, accounts payable, supply chain and operations, and media.
