Ian leads the Enverus Intelligence – Energy Transition Research team. Previously, Ian worked in product management roles in Enverus’ growing ESG business, leading Enverus’ Global (International) Energy Analytics business and as a publishing analyst with Enverus’ Intelligence – Oil & Gas Research team where he helped investors and asset owners navigate the energy market. Over his career he has covered operators and assets (both conventional and unconventional) across North America and around the Atlantic rim. In addition to publishing frequent research notes, Ian delivers conference presentations, television interviews and advisory mandates for corporate and institutional clients. Ian is a CFA charter holder and a registered professional engineer in Alberta. He holds bachelor degrees in engineering physics and applied economics from Queen’s University and an MBA from IESE Business School.
Dane joined Enverus in 2014. His previous work experience includes positions at GLJ Petroleum Consultants and Encana. Dane leads the Oil & Gas Intelligence team and oversees a group of technical and financial specialists using advanced analytics to provide actionable insights. In his role he advises both corporate and institutional clients on strategic investment decisions and is frequently quoted in major media outlets on North American energy topics. Dane graduated from Queen’s University with a degree in geological engineering and is a CFA charter holder.
Dai joined the Enverus team as one of the founding members of DI International in 2009 and has been responsible for building the global scouting data content and teams. Prior to joining Enverus he worked for over 10 years with IHS Energy in scouting data and management positions. His career began with Baker Hughes in wellsite mudlogging and wellbore surveying operations across Europe, Africa and Asia. He graduated from Plymouth University with a BSc (Hons) in Applied Geology in 1990.
Enverus welcomed Alex to the firm in 2013 and he brought five years of sell-side institutional equity research experience working at various Canadian chartered banks covering an array of oil and gas sub-sectors. Alex heads up Enverus’ Lower 48 Natural Gas Intelligence group with a focus on Marcellus, Utica and Haynesville shale plays. In addition, he also been responsible for numerous private mandates for our institutional and corporate client base.
Andy leads the Commercial Intelligence team and deepens Enverus’ group of technical and financial specialists by contributing to company valuations and play modeling. Prior to joining Enverus in 2019, Andy worked as an analyst for energy-analytics and E&P businesses for a decade. He holds a B.A. in Corporate Communication with a minor in Economics from the University of Houston and is based in Houston, Texas.
Turner joined Enverus in April 2021. Turner earned a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from Marietta College and an Executive MBA from Colorado State University. Turner previously worked at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation for 14 years in multiple reservoir engineering, business development, and planning roles across a variety of Lower 48 unconventional resource plays.
Patrick is Director – Global Intelligence at Enverus, where he previously held positions in Technical Sales, Consulting, and Product Management. Before joining Enverus, he spent 26 years working with large and small E&P companies as a member of exploration teams focused on basins in North America, Saudi Arabia and central Europe, in roles from prospect generation and exploration management to business development and executive leadership. Patrick holds an A.B. in Earth Sciences from Dartmouth College and an M.S. in Exploration and Development Geophysics from Stanford University.
Nick leads Enverus’ ESG efforts and supports the energy transition efforts, helping the industry navigate the evolving market landscape. He joined Enverus (ITG) in 2015 and initially focused on onshore U.S. asset valuation and optimization, leading the Gulf Coast research team. Nick graduated from Queen’s University with a degree in engineering chemistry and earned his CFA charter in 2019. He is based in Toronto, Canada.
Steve leads the L48 Oil team for the Enverus Intelligence group. He joined the company in 2018 and focuses on well performance rates of change and the quantification of remaining inventory across his coverage. He previously worked for SLB as a field engineer and graduated from Queen’s University with a B.Sc. in geological engineering.
