Energy has always been more than fuel; it’s leverage. In this edition of Morning Energy Live, Andrew Gillick sits down with Walter Russell Mead, one of the sharpest minds in foreign policy, to unpack how energy is being deployed as a tool of statecraft on the global stage.

They’ll cover:

  • The latest on the “big, beautiful bill” and what it signals to the world
  • How China, Russia and U.S. allies are responding to shifting energy policy
  • Why energy security and strategy are now front-and-center in geopolitics

About our guest:
Walter Russell Mead is a distinguished fellow at Hudson Institute, Global View Columnist at The Wall Street Journal, and one of the leading thinkers on U.S. foreign policy and global strategy.
