Don Hoefer

Technical Solutions Director at Enverus

As Technical Solutions Director, Don Hoefer is responsible for supporting the sales channel as well as the technical interface between customers and the product development organization. Don has more than 30 years working in the Oil and Gas industry. After roughnecking on completion rigs during summers of college Don started his career working in the Permian as a Frac and Cementing Engineer for Dowell Schlumberger in 1990 before joining a small engineering software company called Munro Engineering in 1993. Don has held various positions since 1993 including technical support, managing Landmark Graphics North America support center before managing the Drilling technical sales team. In 2004 he joined Digital Oilfield which was the company that developed OpenInvoice. Don managed the technical support and implementation teams and then transitioned to an Account Manager when ADP acquired Digital Oilfield. Don currently holds the position of Solutions Director for the Enverus Business Automation division and is a Petroleum Engineering graduate from New Mexico Tech.

Chris Pedersen

Principal at PlanMasters LLC

Chris Pedersen began his career in upstream oil and gas operations more than 35 years ago at California’s Elk Hills field, transitioning quickly from roustabout to engineering tech to project manager. Within 10 years, Chris began leading large enterprise software implementation projects, and he briefly left oil and gas in 1998 to install a maintenance management system at the world’s largest pistachio processing plant. In 2001, Chris returned to Elk Hills with Occidental Petroleum where he successively managed teams responsible for project controls, business process improvement, and master data management. In recent years, he architected a new regulatory reporting system, implemented a well planning and permitting tool, and led the overhaul of a production accounting process, each with company-wide scope. In 2020, Chris founded PlanMasters LLC, an independent consulting firm offering project management, business analysis, and operations improvement services to clients in energy, agriculture, and logistics. Chris holds a B.A. in Economics from California State University, Bakersfield, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
