Jake Dobkins

Director of Acquisitions and Divestment at Tower Rock

Jake’s oil and gas career began when he earned a bachelor's degree in energy management at the University of Tulsa. While at Chevron, Jake worked on core drilling and development in some of the country’s most challenging fields. After identifying how outdated, technologically inefficient and muddy the minerals and acquisition space was, Jake moved to Austin and has been involved in helping mineral owners understand their assets, digitizing land processes and advancing the minerals sector to provide transparency in the selling process. With the approach of honesty and data first, Jake has helped more than 430 mineral owners obtain more than $110 million in value for their assets. Jake currently serves as director of Acquisitions and Divestment for Tower Rock Oil and Gas.
