Global attention is once again fixed on the energy sector—arguably at a level not seen since the 1970s. But this time, the focus goes beyond oil volumes. Today’s supermajors must navigate a complex balancing act across oil supply and demand, LNG expansion, surging power needs, capital discipline and emerging clean tech.
In this edition of Morning Energy Live, Andrew Gillick sits down with Andrey Shuvalov, vice president of Energy Transition at Shell USA, for a candid conversation on how integrated energy companies like Shell are rethinking their U.S. strategies in response to rapidly shifting market dynamics.
They’ll dive into timely topics such as the rise of North American LNG exports, oil price volatility and the accelerating power demand from data centers—all of which are influencing capital allocation, project prioritization and transition timelines. Expect insights into how Shell is uncovering new commercial opportunities, overcoming infrastructure constraints and collaborating with innovators to position for near-term returns and long-term growth.
