He was previously an analyst on the macro team and has additional experience advising large industrial consumers on their energy consumption. His education in economics at the University of Alberta focused on industrial organization and power markets.

Sarp Ozkan is VP of Commercial Product at Enverus. He joined Enverus through the acquisition of products and services from Ponderosa Advisors in 2016 and has more than 10 years of research and modeling experience in the upstream, downstream and power markets. Sarp has been a trusted energy expert for the media and for state regulatory bodies throughout the U.S. and has led consulting projects around many M&A and strategy related inquiries. He has presented at many commercial and academic conferences around the world and been published in several peer-reviewed journals. Sarp holds a Master of Science in Mineral and Energy Economics from the Colorado School of Mines, a Master of Science in Petroleum Economics and Management from the Institut Francais du Petrole (IFP School), and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago.
Founder | AI Systems Engineer, AQ Energy
Wish is a Founder & AI Systems Engineer specializing in AI solutions for energy companies in the US and Alberta and a Visiting Professor of A.I. at the University of Calgary and Queen’s University – Smith School of Business. His expertise lies in four primary domains: Power Plants, AI Data Centers, LNG Operations and Commodities Trading (power, gas and NGLs). Wish has designed AI systems for power plants, LNG analytics and load forecasting models for data centers. In commodities trading, Wish has led the development of intelligent trading systems for natural gas and power in North American markets including Texas (ERCOT) and Virginia (PJM). This involves modelling power requirements for power generation companies and their commercial exposures and PSAs with AI data center customers.
