Prior to Enverus, he served as an A&D engineer and later as a managing director at a private equity firm focused on unconventional investments and mineral acquisitions. He has advised companies on capital deployment, fundraising and A&D, and has helped launch several upstream ventures. A former U.S. Army engineering officer, Phillip holds degrees from Ohio State University and the University of Louisiana.
