Phillip currently serves as director of product management for minerals at Enverus. Prior to joining Enverus in early 2016, Phillip worked as an A&D engineer in the Appalachian Basin and later as a managing director at an upstream private equity firm. While at Enverus, he has served in various roles, most recently as principal of corporate strategy.

Phillip served for 10 years as an engineering officer in the U.S. Army, retiring in 2021. Phillip holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Ohio State University and a Master of Engineering from the University of Louisiana.

Sarp is a Director of Energy Analysis at Enverus Market Intelligence. He has research and modeling experience in the upstream and downstream markets and has presented his work at various academic conferences around the world, including those organized by the SPE and the IAEE. He has also been published in the SPE Economics & Management Journal for his work on the long-term economic viability of production from unconventional liquids-rich reservoirs. Sarp’s focus on data-driven modeling and his ability to incorporate the effects of technological and market advances into analyses provides clients a thorough picture of the present and the future in their area of interest within the oil and gas industry.

Sarp holds a Master of Science in Mineral and Energy Economics from the Colorado School of Mines, a Master of Science in Petroleum Economics and Management from the Institut Francais du Petrole (IFP School), and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago.

Maria is an energy market analyst with a focus on natural gas fundamentals. Her experience includes analyzing regional and macro supply/demand dynamics by combining pipeline flows, production forecasts, demand forecasts, storage volumes, weather, and regional prices. She has managed and traded financial derivatives swaps, and options. Maria also leads consulting engagements related to natural gas fundamentals across the U.S. involving pipeline and storage infrastructure systems.

 

Maria holds a Master of Science in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Universidad de Carabobo, Venezuela.

Patrick is Director – Global Research at Enverus, where he previously held positions in Technical Sales and Consulting and Product Management. Before joining Enverus, he spent 26 years working with large and small E&P companies as a member of exploration teams focused on basins in North America, Saudi Arabia and central Europe, in roles from prospect generation and exploration management to business development and executive leadership. Patrick holds an A.B. in Earth Sciences from Dartmouth College and an M.S. in Exploration and Development Geophysics from Stanford University.

Mark covers the oilfield services and supply industries for Enverus. He has over 10 years of energy experience, spending much of this time working on hydraulic fracture design optimization and application of new technologies in unconventional plays. Mark is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers through leadership in conference committees, study groups and co-authoring over 10 manuscripts in both domestic and international plays. He holds a bachelor of science in petroleum engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.

Rob leads product development with a focus on natural gas and power markets, midstream infrastructure, and trading & risk management. He joined Enverus in April 2018 following three years at Bloomberg LP in San Francisco as the Director of Business Development for Energy Market Products. Before that, Rob spent 12 years trading gas and power in wholesale energy markets for UBS, JP Morgan, and BNP Paribas in New York City. Preceding his career in the energy industry, Rob was a Nuclear Submarine Officer in the United States Navy. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Ian specializes in asset characterization and financial modeling, with a focus on offshore and international plays and the companies pursuing those opportunities. In addition to frequent research notes, Ian delivers conference presentations, television interviews and advisory mandates for corporate and institutional clients. Prior to joining Enverus (RS Energy), Ian progressed through a variety of field and development engineering roles at Canadian Natural Resources, including developing and executing drilling programs in Western Canada, evaluating acquisitions, estimating reserves, designing completions, and optimizing production. Ian is a CFA charterholder and a registered professional engineer in Alberta. He holds bachelor degrees in engineering physics and applied economics from Queen’s University and an MBA from IESE Business School.

After obtaining his commerce degree in finance with distinction from the University of Alberta, Thomas joined Enverus (RS Energy) in January 2018. As a member of the Midstream team, Thomas is responsible for forecasting oil and gas basis differentials and supports the advisory service. Prior work experience includes a year at Nexen Energy in crude oil marketing. He is a level 3 candidate in the CFA program.

Al is a member of the Enverus Intelligence team with 18 years of experience in the energy industry with EnCana/Cenovus and Suncor. His 15 years at EnCana/Cenovus were focused on the fundamental analysis of oil, natural gas and power for the purposes of forecasting, hedging and corporate strategy. Al graduated from the University of Calgary in 2000, earning a bachelor of arts degree in applied energy economics and an MBA with honors from Syracuse University in 2007.

Stephen earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Calgary in 2016.

Heather joined Enverus (RS Energy) in September 2018 and is a member of the Gulf Coast team, primarily focusing on the Eagle Ford play. Heather earned a degree in chemical engineering and management from McMaster University and previously worked in exploitation and production roles at Birchcliff Energy and ConocoPhillips. At Enverus she contributes to well design and completions analyses, and data science initiatives.

Enverus welcomed Alex to the firm in 2013 and he brought five years of sell-side institutional equity research experience working at various Canadian chartered banks covering an array of oil and gas sub-sectors. He graduated in 2007 from the University of Lethbridge with a bachelor of management with a concentration in finance. Alex heads up Enverus’ Lower 48 Natural Gas Intelligence group with a focus on Marcellus, Utica and Haynesville shale plays. In addition, he also been responsible for numerous private mandates for our institutional and corporate client base.

Jimmy previously worked for four years at Cenovus Energy in various financial roles and graduated from Western University with a bachelor of finance.

With over 13 years’ experience in the energy industry, Bernadette has earned the reputation of industry expert with extensive experience providing crude, natural gas, NGL, power and broad energy market fundamentals analysis and advisory services to various players globally. Prior to joining Enverus (Ponderosa Advisors), Bernadette provided analytics and research support on natural gas, power and oil futures market s for a team of financial traders at Sasco Energy Partners and was a consulting project team lead with BENTEK Energy, LLC. Bernadette regularly provides expert testimony and market expertise to various state and regulatory agencies, was honored in Hart’s 40 under 40 class in 2019 and Oil and Gas Investor’s 25 Influential Women in Energy class of 2021. In addition to these honors, Bernadette serves on the IPAA/PESA Education Advisory Board and SPE Reservoir Advisory Committee in the area of Economics. Bernadette holds a MS Degree in International Political Economy of Resources and a BS Degree in Economics, from the Colorado School of Mines.

Rob is the Senior Director of Power Analytics at Enverus. Rob also worked in the western U.S. for nearly 10 years at Power Utilities and started his career as a Hydrologist for the Federal Government.

She has been involved in several advisory mandates for both institutional and corporate clients. Denise graduated from the University of Alberta in 2011 with a bachelor of science specializing in geology. While finishing her master of science in integrated petroleum geosciences in 2012 from the same university, Denise began working for Murphy Oil and was a member of the exploitation group. She later worked with the technical sales team at Drilling Info with a focus on Transform software.

Gibson joined Enverus (Ross Smith) in June 2004 after working for two years in Talisman Energy’s land A&D group.
