Natural Gas Liquids (NGL)

NGL stands for natural gas liquids. These are hydrocarbon liquids that are separated from natural gas during processing and include components like ethane, propane, butanes and natural gasoline. It is a critical factor in determining how efficiently produced hydrocarbons can reach processing facilities or end markets. When takeaway capacity is limited, it can lead to bottlenecks, reduced production or lower commodity prices in the region.
