12 Runners, 12 Insights, One Team: Team Enverus Celebrates Vltava Run

byBryn Davies

Our twelve-member team embarked on the memorable Vltava Relay challenge, covering 360km in 35 hours, with 300 other competing teams. Along the way, we saw beautiful countryside and villages, cheered each other on, and made new friendships and memories. We crossed the finish line as One Team, and learned some lessons applicable to both our professional lives and personal endeavors, reflecting Enverus’ Core Values: One Team, Fearless Innovation, and Partners For Life.

12 Insights from the Team:

1. Unified support

Success hinges on collaborative efforts—planning, cheering, facilitating. It’s the months of unseen coordination ahead of the event and encouragement that makes a challenge like this possible. #OneTeam

2. Empowering motivation

Accountability to the team drives peak performance. Knowing you are part of a team who is motivated incentivizes everyone to give their best effort.

3. Cherishing moments

Whether persevering through a segment or recovering, embracing the present by soaking up the natural beauty of the scenery, and having fun with your team elevates the journey.

4. Strategic preparation

Meticulous strategizing translates into seamless execution, whether in a race that requires well-timed handoffs or scaling operations.

5. Training

Consistent effort and targeted training: do the reps and get results. Practice your craft and hone it by setting goals and training to achieve them.

6. Innovative experimentation

Participating in this type of event was new for almost everyone. Embracing new challenges as a team with an open mind fosters growth and resilience. #FearlessInnovation

7. Prioritizing wellness

Make sure to eat properly, hydrate and take advantage of those few short sleep hours. You’re only at your best if you take care of yourself.

8. Engaging communication

Genuine interactions enrich team dynamics, transforming colleagues into a tight-knit community. There is no replacement for meeting people in real life and spending quality time with them.

9. Collaborative leadership

Engaged involvement and thoughtful guidance from all team members, spearheaded by our captain, ensured every step was smooth. Leadership can inspire a team by being everyone’s support and guide.

10. Celebrating achievements

Acknowledging individual successes boosts morale and fosters a culture of appreciation. Encourage the people around you, it matters!

11. Cultivating trust

No one ever doubted that the team would be at your finish line ready for you to finish the segment. Our inherent trust, rooted in Enverus’ culture, reassures every member of unwavering support and camaraderie. #PartnersForLife

12. Embracing unity

“Na zdraví – Cheers!” signifies more than a conclusion; it’s a toast to our shared journey, achievements and future endeavors.

These lessons from the Vltava Relay underscore the essence of Enverus’ brand identity—collaboration, innovation and a steadfast commitment to our people, mirroring the resilience and teamwork essential in our everyday missions.
