The Best Megawatt:
Locating High-Value Projects Across ISO Market Hotspots

Thursday, June 25, 2026
12:00 AM | Central Time

Webinar details

Where you build determines what you earn. As interconnection queues lengthen, congestion patterns shift, and hyperscalers reshape offtake, identifying the highest-value generation sites requires more than a regional market view. It requires node-level grid headroom, buildable acreage, and project economics layered together.

At EVOLVE 2026, Ian Nieboer walks through how to rank ISO markets, screen for POIs that will clear, and benchmark project economics against 20,000+ operating assets so you place the next megawatt where it will earn the most.

What you will learn:

  • How to rank ISO regions and specific nodes using grid headroom, LMP basis, and land buildability
  • How queue composition predicts which POIs will clear interconnection studies
  • How hyperscaler offtake is concentrating, and which corridors have durable procurement opportunity
  • How to benchmark LCOE and capex/MW against the full operating asset universe
