Wil founded Quantum Capital Group (formerly called Quantum Energy Partners) in 1998 and serves as the firm's CEO and Chairman of the firm’s Executive Committee and Investment Committee. He focuses his time overseeing the investment activities of the firm while also being actively engaged in setting firm strategy, fundraising, business development, and talent identification and development. Prior to founding Quantum, Wil founded Windrock Capital, an energy investment banking firm specializing in raising private equity for and providing M&A advice to private energy companies. Early in his career, he worked in the energy investment banking groups of Kidder, Peabody & Co. and NationsBank. Wil holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas Christian University.
