Barry’s 38+ year career spans co-founding various startup businesses, holding 50+ corporate officer & director positions, including president, treasurer, director of Tax and corporate secretarial positions for private and public companies, domestically and internationally, guiding companies through the complete lifecycle from startup to wind-up, including advising on complex domestic and international entity structures, projects and contracts, business and tax matters, due diligence for acquisitions, mergers, reorganizations and business dispositions ranging in size from small closely held companies to large multi-national, multibillion-dollar businesses. Having a master’s degree in Business Administration and deep practical experience in domestic and international tax, business, finance, treasury and accounting, Barry has earned the professional certifications of Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and he was the 1st CPA in the U.S. to earn the certification of Accredited Petroleum Accountant (APA). He was awarded the 2017 Global Innovation Award (Financial Category) by a multi-billion-dollar international public company for his work with R&D tax credits. His 18+ years’ experience in public practice balanced with his 20+ years’ experience in private industry, covers many industries such as upstream and downstream oil and gas, refineries, power and energy, engineering, manufacturing, construction, retail, communications, technology, hospitality, media, banking, governmental agencies and nonprofit organizations. In addition to his comprehensive experience throughout the U.S., Barry has 25+ years extensive international experience, with his work touching 60+ countries, including travel to Africa, Europe, Middle East and Latin America.

Eliot leads the Enverus Minerals Division, guiding a team of professionals that work with individual mineral owners, mineral investment funds, wealth management departments, banks, E&P mineral departments and foundations. Many of these groups seek ways to leverage technology to automate antiquated and costly mineral management practices and generate actionable insights all along the mineral and royalty lifecycle — from acquisition, through management, to divestiture. Eliot began his career in minerals as one of the early employees of MineralSoft® and as a legacy mineral owner in Texas.
