As operators home in on the geologic and engineering parameters that drive production in resource plays, the top three are often identified as: 1) Pressure, 2) Pressure 3) PRESSURE! Reservoir Pressure, however, is often enigmatic and difficult to map. Without it, operators could have a difficult time forecasting performance, valuing acreage or developing a field – all of which have costly ramifications.

  • How can I create pore pressure gradients from DST data?
  • How can I create pseudo contour polygons that represent pressure regimes?
  • How do pressure regimes relate to well performance?
  • How can I optimize my completion based on the pressure regime?
