Al Salazar is a seasoned member of the Enverus Intelligence team, bringing over 23 years of experience in the energy industry with a focus on fundamental analysis of oil, natural gas, and power. Throughout his career, Al has held key positions at EnCana/Cenovus and Suncor, where he honed his skills in forecasting, hedging, and corporate strategy. Al’s 15-year tenure at EnCana/Cenovus was particularly impactful, where he contributed significantly to the company’s success. Al earned his bachelor’s degree in Applied Energy Economics from the University of Calgary in 2000, followed by an MBA with honors from Syracuse University in 2007. Al’s academic background, coupled with his extensive professional experience, has equipped him with a deep understanding of the energy industry’s complexities and the necessary skills to navigate them effectively.

Andrew Gillick is managing director and strategist at Enverus, with more than 25 years of experience spanning the energy and finance sectors. A respected voice in the industry, he regularly shares his perspective at international conferences and private forums, and his analysis has appeared in The Wall Street JournalFinancial Times and Oil and Gas Investor.

At Enverus, Andrew leads strategy and thought leadership across the firm’s intelligence platform. He authors the widely read Morning Energy newsletter and hosts Morning Energy Live, a podcast and webinar series featuring candid conversations with energy executives and thought leaders. In his role, he works closely with executives, investors and stakeholders across the energy value chain to share perspectives and frame the industry’s most pressing opportunities and challenges.

Andrew earned his undergraduate degree from Colgate University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Based in New York, he enjoys spending his free time driving his daughters to youth soccer games.

Bernadette joined Enverus in 2016 through the acquisition of products and services from Ponderosa Advisors, where she was a founding partner. Throughout her career in energy, Bernadette has earned the reputation of industry expert with extensive experience providing crude, natural gas, and NGL fundamentals analysis and advisory services to various players in the North American and global energy markets. After starting as VP of Strategic Analytics at Enverus, Bernadette served as SVP and Head of Power & Renewables. In 2022, Bernadette was promoted to GM of Power & Renewables, where she continues to lead our Power & Renewables division. Bernadette holds an M.S. in International Political Economy of Resources and a B.S. in Economics, from the Colorado School of Mines.

Brandon Guttery joined Enverus in March 2017 and is currently Senior Manager of Technical Sales over the Energy Analytics Division. Prior to Enverus, Brandon served as Staff Geologist at multiple private E&Ps focused on exploration in the Mid-Con and Rocky Mountain regions. Eventually, he moved to Houston to pursue a Geologist position evaluating Negotiated Transactions at the Oil & Gas Asset Clearinghouse. Brandon received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Geology from the University of Oklahoma in 2010 and 2012 respectively. He currently resides in Katy, TX with his wife, three sons, and daughter where he enjoys cooking and entertaining for his family and friends in his spare time.
