See where Vaca Muerta’s growth is supported by inventory, productivity and economics, and where infrastructure, market access, costs and above-ground risk could set the pace.
Vaca Muerta has the resource depth to remain a source of oil and gas growth for more than a decade. Enverus Intelligence® Research estimates the play holds 8.7 Bbbl and 109 Tcf of oil and gas resource below $55 WTI and $3 Henry Hub breakevens, respectively. Oil productivity degradation has stabilized, while gas-weighted windows continue to outperform comparable North American plays.
Resource quality, however, is only part of the outlook. The next phase of development will depend on pipeline and export capacity, LNG economics, cost improvements, M&A activity, fiscal stability and the ability of oilfield services companies to support rising activity.
Join Andrew McConn, Steve Diederichs, Dani von Bassenheim and Vishnu Gopakumar from the Enverus Intelligence® Research team for a one-hour discussion based on Enverus analysis of Vaca Muerta’s inventory, productivity, spacing, economics, infrastructure, transactions and oilfield services activity.
