Changing focus, he moved to the fundamental analysis group at Direct where he focused on developing congestion models, as well as provided traders with short-and long-term price views. In his spare time, Scott enjoys enhancing his Python programming skills and taking his new puppy to the dog park with his wife and children.

Nick leads ESG efforts at Enverus and supports the energy transition efforts, helping the industry navigate the evolving market landscape. He joined Enverus (ITG) in 2015 and initially focused on onshore U.S. asset valuation and optimization, leading the Gulf Coast research team. Nick graduated from Queen's University with a degree in engineering chemistry and earned his CFA charter in 2019. He is based in Toronto, Canada.

Previously, he was a Managing Director in the BRG Energy and Climate Practice leading the Power and Renewables team, led the Navigant/Guidehouse wholesale power markets team, and was an application engineer at GE’s power economics group. He has over 18 years of experience leading teams and implementing solutions focusing on power industry consulting services and power economics. The types of engagements range across the power sector including integrated resource planning, power asset transactions and valuation, decarbonization pathways, strategic entry for various stakeholders, and expert witness testimony. His expertise also includes production cost modeling, energy storage and hybrid system dispatch, resource adequacy planning, and portfolio optimization.
