ALLEN GILMER

FOUNDER & BOARD MEMBER

Prior to co-founding Enverus in 1999, Allen was an independent oilman for seven years, co-founding three profitable exploration & production companies. He began his oil patch career with Marathon Oil Corporation, as a geophysicist working in research, seismic acquisitions, and South American exploration. Allen is active in all aspects of Enverus’s new product development and is widely recognized for his leadership and vision. He holds several patents in the field of component seismology. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in geology from Rice University and a Master of Science in geology from University of Texas at El Paso.

JEFF HUGHES

CEO & PRESIDENT

Jeff has a 20-year track record of driving market share and profit growth at SaaS businesses, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 corporations. His expertise with P&L management, leadership of global teams, and tech innovation are defined by his unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.

Before he joined Enverus, he worked as the general manager for Digital Insight, chief technology officer for NCR Financial Services, and the general manager for Radiant Systems. Jeff’s SaaS career began in 1995, when he founded CompleteSynergy with a first-of-its-kind software application. He earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing and management from the University of Nebraska.

DAVE PIAZZA

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Dave joined Enverus in 2012 as Chief Financial Officer, following eight years in the healthcare software industry, where he worked as the CFO for a public company selling software and services to hospitals and other healthcare providers. He also served as that company’s head of services and implementation as they successfully transitioned from a public to a private company in a take private transaction. Prior to that, Dave worked as a CFO and senior executive at both public and private telecommunications companies, building fiber optic networks and rolling out competitive local and long distance services to an emerging deregulated telecom industry. Dave started his career at Arthur Andersen in Chicago, graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy, and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs.

MARK SZYGENDA

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Mark is an accomplished senior executive with over 20 years experience building and managing global technical and operational organizations with a focus on total corporate growth and innovation. He has brought his technical leadership, global experience, acquisition integration, innovation and operational skills to organizations of all levels, including early stage startups, governments and Fortune 1000 companies. He has led the technology for several successful acquisitions and public offering.

Most recently, Mark was the COO for PureWRX, leading the technical effort of the business from solely services to SaaS based. Before PureWRX, Mark was the senior VP of engineering and operations for SolarWinds, where he was instrumental in leading infrastructure, engineering, global expansion and operational excellence. He earned a BS in mathematics with computer science from Trinity University.

MATT WILCOXSON

CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER

Matt joined Enverus in 2005, serving in various sales and leadership capacities over his 10 plus year tenure. Currently Matt serves as the chief revenue officer, where he is in charge of leading Enverus’s global sales efforts, account management and membership development. Matt has extensive experience in growing new markets and various verticals, having lead start up efforts for Enverus’s Western US and Canadian sales operations, Strategic Account Team and most recently, International Division. Matt currently serves on the board of key industry organizations and is actively involved with IPAA, Western Energy Alliance, TIPRO, YPE, SPE amongst others. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in geography from the University of Texas, Austin.

COLIN WESTMORELAND

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT & GENERAL MANAGER, MARKET RESEARCH

 

Colin joined Enverus in 2004, bringing a wide range of experience to the executive leadership team, and currently serves as the SVP and GM of the Market Research division. After starting as an individual sales contributor, Colin served as SVP of Global Sales for six years before moving to a general manager role to build out Enverus’ oilfield services division. In his current role as GM of Market Research, Colin is responsible for full operational and market strategy surrounding acquisitions. Prior to joining Enverus, Colin cut his teeth in sales at the Southwestern Company for two summers while he earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin.

JIMMY FORTUNA

CHIEF PRODUCT OFFICER

Jimmy’s product-focused career within technology businesses began in 1995. In roles since ranging from Product Marketing to Product Development, Jimmy has helped large and small companies grow quickly by leading the development, differentiation, and quality improvements of complex, global product portfolios. Most recently, Jimmy served as VP of Product Management at Omnitracs, LLC and prior to that was VP of Product Development at NCR Corporation. Jimmy is an inventor on ten U.S. patents in a diversity of fields including cryptography, cyber security, vehicle telematics, and point-of-sale mobility. He received a BS in management from Georgia Tech.

TANYA ANDRIEN

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Before joining Enverus, Tanya was a lecturer at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, and the associate director of the McCombs Energy Center, where she was responsible for alumni relations, student programming, and business operations. Prior to working at McCombs, Tanya was a director at Duff and Phelps, an international financial advisory firm. Tanya graduated Magna Cum Laude in economics from Princeton University and she holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where she was a Palmer Scholar.

JIM JARRELL

CO-PRESIDENT, OIL & GAS ANALYTICS

Jim, a licensed Professional Engineer (P. Eng.), graduated from Queen’s University in geological engineering in 1982 and was hired by Texaco Canada Resources Ltd. He spent seven years with Texaco, first as a production engineer in the Pembina oil field then as a reservoir engineer. Jim became a qualified reserves evaluator for Texaco Inc. in 1986. After Texaco was purchased by Imperial Oil in 1989, he moved to Coles Gilbert Associates Ltd. (now GLJ Petroleum Consultants) as an evaluation engineer where he was a partner of the firm for six years. Jim joined Gardiner Oil and Gas Limited as its western district engineer in 1996. Following the sale of the company a year later, Jim co-founded Gardiner Exploration Ltd., which was bought by Cypress Energy Ltd. in May 1999. Jim joined and became a partner of the Ross Smith Energy Group in June of 1999 and became president in 2002. RSEG was acquired by ITG Investment Research in 2011 where Jim co-headed energy research. Before joining Enverus, he was co-President and co-CEO of RS Energy Group, along with Manuj Nikhanj.

MANUJ NIKHANJ

CO-PRESIDENT, OIL & GAS ANALYTICS

Before joining Enverus, Manuj was co-President and co-CEO of RS Energy Group. As co-President of Oil & Gas Analytics, he shares responsibility with Jim Jarrell for running all facets of the company’s largest segment. Over the last 17 years he has completed several hundred evaluations of public and private producers, plays and assets. Manuj has served as a trusted advisor for multiple company boards and executive teams around strategy and execution on new and existing assets. Prior to RS Energy Group, Manuj was Co-Head of Energy Research at ITG, which in 2011 acquired the Ross Smith Energy Group where Manuj was a partner. He obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree (with distinction) from the University of Calgary and is a CFA and FRM charterholder.

CHRIS DINKLER

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT & GM BUSINESS AUTOMATION

Chris Dinkler joined Enverus in 2015 as the SVP of North American Sales and has also spent time leading the Capital Markets and International business units for Enverus. In 2018, Chris was named General Manger of the Business Automation division leading the integration of various acquisitions within this business unit. Chris has built a successful career managing global teams focused on driving revenue and organizational efficiency within the energy space. Prior to Enverus, Chris held senior executive sales and services positions with P2 Energy Solutions and Oildex. Chris holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance.

GABE WILCOX

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT & GM OF MINERALS

Gabe Wilcox joined Enverus in 2018 as SVP and GM of Minerals. Gabe was previously co-founder and CEO of MineralSoft, the market leader in mineral management technology, from the company’s inception in 2015 to its acquisition by Enverus in December 2018. Prior to his involvement in energy technology, Gabe worked in finance, first as an investment banker at Arbor Advisors in Palo Alto and then as a private equity investor with North Bridge Growth Equity in Boston. A native of central Arkansas, Gabe received his BA from Yale University and attended the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania for his MBA.

ALICIA RECUPERO

VICE PRESIDENT, MARKETING

Alicia joined Enverus in 2016 to lead the marketing team, with a primary focus on driving lead generation across all lines of business. Prior to joining Enverus, she led integrated marketing for the financial services division of NCR. She has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and has held several leadership positions on both the corporate and marketing services agency side, focusing mostly on technology and financial services. Alicia graduated from Simmons College in Boston, with a Bachelor of Arts in communications.

SHELLEY WAGEMANN

VICE PRESIDENT, HUMAN RESOURCES

Shelley joined Enverus in 2018, bringing with her over 30 years of experience working within human resources. Prior to Enverus, she worked with numerous technology companies and gained experience in the education, healthcare and nonprofit industries. After serving as director and Sr. HR Business Partner for a Semiconductor company in Phoenix, Shelley was excited to move to Austin and get back to her roots of working with an entrepreneurial-minded, fast-growing company. As VP of HR at Enverus, Shelley’s focus is to align HR strategies with business strategies and to ensure HR is a solid business partner in driving strong employee engagement.
