Dave Savelle

General Manager, Field Ticket

As General Manager, Field Ticket, Dave Savelle is responsible for all aspects of the OpenTicket digital field ticketing solution. Dave is a 33-year veteran of the oil and gas technology industry. He started as a wireline engineer for NL McCullough in Western Canada and then joined Munro Engineering in 1988, deploying drilling database management systems. Over the course of the next 30 years, he undertook a number of roles in technology development and operations, including support, sales management, marketing, and development for Munro Garett, which was acquired by Landmark, in turn ultimately acquired by Halliburton. In 2000, Dave left Halliburton and co-founded Digital Oilfield, running US operations from its inception and was on hand for the first deployments of OpenInvoice. In 2006, he returned to Halliburton in the role of Technical Business Line Director for Drilling. Dave is a member of the SPE and is a mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Western Ontario.

Don Hoefer

Solutions Director, Business Automation

As Solutions Director, Don Hoefer is responsible for supporting the sales channel as well as the technical interface between customers and the Business Automation product development organization at Enverus. Don has more than 29 years working in the Oil and Gas industry. He started working in the Permian as a Frac and Cementing Engineer for Dowell Schlumberger in 1990 before joining a small engineering software company called Munro Engineering in 1993. Don has held various positions since 1993 including technical support and managing Landmark Graphics North America support center before managing the Drilling technical sales team. In 2004 he joined Digital Oilfield which was the company that developed OpenInvoice. Don managed the technical support and implementation teams and then transitioned to an Account Manager when ADP acquired Digital Oilfield. Don currently holds the position of Solutions Director for the Enverus Business Automation division and is a Petroleum Engineering graduate from New Mexico Tech.
