Lewis Energy Group has been active in South Texas for over two decades, with primary focus in the Olmos formation. The map below shows their historical wells.
All those Olmos wells are sitting pretty much on Hawkville field, right at the center of current Eagle Ford activity. They have premium position, own their rigs, and are very familiar with the rancher culture down there.
So lets take a look at a map of the Lewis Eagle Ford permit activity. They have filed for 26 permits and no other company has filed for more Eagle Ford permits in 2010 than Lewis.
We will have to wait for Lewis Eagle Ford production results but when they are released, Energy Strategy Partners will be on top of it. Be sure to check the Eagle Ford Unconventional Update available to all drillinginfo users for up to date Eagle Ford information.
