When the Hale formation (western AR) started being produced there were some early wells that hinted that the Hale might be equivalent to the Fayetteville in its cumulative production potential. If , however, you compare 24 month cumulative values between the two, the Fayetteville median value is about .5 BCF, whereas the Hale checks in at a much lower median value of 100,000+MCF cumulative gas. The search, however, was biased towards wells completed in the time frame of 1/1/2006-present, and there may not yet be enough Hale wells with 24 months worth of production to make a judgement, so stay tuned…..To see detail on a well, hover your cursor over the dot.
