With Chesapeake’s recent endorsement of the unconventional resource potential in the Ohio Utica, we thought it worthwhile to take a quick look at Ohio permitting in the last 120 days to see what’s “in play”. Permits targeted to either the Utica (and deeper) or the Point Pleasant (facies, maybe age-equivalent to the Utica) are highlighted in light yellow.
