We catalogue Performance Press Releases (operator reported well test results) as they are reported for each of the Unconventional Updates. Below is a map of the Eagle Ford dry and wet gas wells we have catalogued. The map is colored by reported IP rate (6:1 equivalency basis) and bubbled by reported liquid IP rate. I bubbled it by liquid IP rate in an attempt to see how the more liquids rich wells compare with the dryer wells.
The highest IPs are out East in Karnes and Dewitt counties. This is where some of the more liquids rich wells have been reported thus far. The Swift well annotated in the map is an interesting well. It is in the area of the Petrohawk/Swift JV and it may show the potential of this area to produce a nice liquid cut. Most of the wells out in Karnes and Dewitt counties are Pioneer wells and they seem to be high performing. The Robert Crawley is a high performing dry gas well that is immediatley southeast to the Sinor Ranch wet gas well producing 500 Bbl/d, both are Pioneer operated.
We’ll continue to keep track of the PPRs and will point out interesting trends as more data becomes available, especially in the oil window. Check out the Eagle Ford Unconventional Update Performance Press Release folder to view them. You need to click on the well data tab to view all the information we are collecting about the operator reported press releases. Click on the Well Data tab towards the top of the screen.
