Copano Energy released an interesting presentation to their website recently titled Copano Eagle Ford Strategy. In it, Copano details their Eagle Ford operations including information on operator commitments for each pipeline and extension. Below is the map that combines the 3 pipelines detailed.
Here are the operators they specified for 2 of the 3 pipelines. The third was an NGL pipeline.
DK Pipeline – Abraxas, GeoSouthern, Petrohawk, Pioneer, Riley and others.
Eagle Ford Gathering Pipeline – SM Energy, Chesapeake, Anadarko
Needless to say, this is a pretty good conglomeration of top Eagle Ford operators so far. It looks like between Copano and their JV operations, they are hitting all the main areas of the play; Maverick Basin, Sugarkane/Blackhawk corridor, Hawkville, NGL capacity.
Here is a map of the listed operator’s producing wells. Of course, some of these wells may not be commited to Copano, but it gives a good idea.
Other midstream operators have found other large commitments. Enterprise for example reached a large commitment from EOG for their oil wells. Velocity Midstream is building takeaway capacity for Rosetta Resources.
